OUR refugee PROJECTS

To date, we have been proving aid to refugees in these countries. Bangladesh - Yemen - Rohingya - Syria - Gaza - Cameroon - CAR

A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. Imagine being forced to leave home, losing all your belongings. A refugee has a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. Most likely, they cannot return home or are afraid to do so. War and ethnic, tribal, and religious violence are leading causes of refugees fleeing their countries and two-thirds of all refugees worldwide come from just five countries: Syria, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Myanmar, and Somalia.

At the same time, there are those who are internally displaced within their own countries when forced to flee their homes due to border restrictions. They are known as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) according to the United Nations. Here at Global Ehsan Relief, we aim to deliver aid and development programmes to those who need it most in an efficient and effective way without prejudice to people’s religion, sex, age or ethnic background.

Where do we work?

Water scarcity, poverty, political stability, and strong partner organizations all play a part in where we choose to work.

We fund water programs in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Myanmar. We focus on providing rural communities with their first access to clean water. We're not just about funding new wells, we're also taking care of the ones we've already built. This is how we ensure that our water projects continue to provide clean water to communities long after they are installed. Pipeline is a system of local leaders, innovative technology, and trained mechanics all working together to keep water flowing at charity: water projects around the world.
