What is Aqiqah? It involves the sacrificing of an animal as an act of gratitude and celebration after the birth of a child. It involves slaughtering an animal, typically a sheep or a goat, and distributing its meat to family, friends, and those in need!
Narrated by Aisha R.A: "The Prophet S.A.W. ordered us to sacrifice two similar goats for a boy and one goat for a girl."
