After two dams and four bridges collapsed as a result of the devastating Storm Daniel, the already fractured Libya was ill-prepared for what was to come. Thousands of people are still missing and the death toll is expected to reach as high as 20,000. Many people were asleep when their homes collapsed on them and were swept to sea.
Now, Libya needs our help.
Thousands of people are struggling to survive the devastation and your donations will immensely help save lives today.

Disaster victims require a variety of supplies, including food, drink, blankets, mattresses, and other items. The following needs must be met for the individuals who were evacuated from those areas since entire villages were destroyed by the flood.
In the coming challenging days, we want to assist as many flood victims and provide as much relief as we can.
"We are looking at many months, if not years of response" - International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
More than 2,000 have died from a devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck in the historic city of Marrakesh, Morocco. With thousands left injured, many of those affected are believed to be in the remote villages nestled within the High Atlas mountains - the very heart of the earthquake’s epicentre.
Earthquake survivors often require medical care, however it's a big challenge when local health systems are affected by a disaster. Blocked roads have become barriers to swift medical assistance and there are formidable obstacles to rescue and relief operations.
It is now a race against time to get to the survivors and provide emergency aid to the displaced. Providing immediate essential supplies is Global Ehsan Relief's top priority for those affected by the earthquake.
And we need your help to do so.
"When I felt the earth shaking beneath my feet and the house leaning, I rushed to get my kids out. But my neighbours couldn’t. Unfortunately no one was found alive in that family. The father and son were found dead and they are still looking for the mother and the daughter.
Mohamed Azaw, earthquake survivor
Global Ehsan Relief is travelling to Marrakesh to supply urgent food aid, temporary shelter and medical supplies as they recover. Along with our partners on the ground and your support, we will supply emergency aid to those who severely needs it. Together, we can ensure women, children and families get the help they need in this time of great loss and mourning.
