Qurban Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What types of Qurban services does Global Ehsan Relief provide?
Global Ehsan Relief provides only fresh Qurban in 33 different countries worldwide. This spans across Asia, Middle East and Africa. We have classified and highlighted them into Most affordable, Most needed and Refugee and conflict areas.
Who are Global Ehsan Relief’s Qurban beneficiaries?
Our beneficiaries include orphans, widows, refugees, internally displaced persons and those living under the poverty line. The livestocks will be purchased locally and the Qurban meat will be disbursed to the local beneficiaries, some of whom will only get protein from meat once a year.
Can we request a portion of the meat to be delivered back to us?
No. At the top of our priority list are the local beneficiaries as listed above. You may take comfort in the knowledge that your Qurban has nourished those who need it most.
Why can’t I get my name on the livestock in the other 30 countries?
Due to Covid-19 and the fact that other countries never had such practices and annually they will perform thousands of Qurbans within the span of a few days makes it practically not possible. As long as you have made the intentions to perform Qurban for yourself or someone else then that is sufficient.
What will I receive from Global Ehsan Relief Qurban?
Global Ehsan Relief will provide you with a payment receipt after you make payment. A certificate of completion will be provided only upon request.
General pictures and videos of the Qurban will be uploaded on our social media (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
How can I be sure that the Qurban I paid for is taking place?
Global Ehsan Relief has five offices in Asia and has undertaken projects and relief efforts worldwide, some of which volunteers tagged along. All our work is closely monitored and audited. Annual reports and reports for major projects like Qurban are publicly available with the breakdown for each country.
When is the last day I can order and make payment for Qurban 2020 with Global Ehsan Relief?
We take last orders and payment on the 24th of July 2020, 6PM. Some countries will run out of stock early therefore we encourage early conformation.
Can a single cow be shared by a number of persons to perform Qurban?
A cow can be shared by up to 7 persons or households.
How is per cow share calculated?
1 Sheep or Goat = 1 Qurban
1 Cow = 7 Qurban’s (One Qurban – 1/7th of the share)
Will Qurban certificates be given this year?
Yes, certificates will ONLY be given upon request. Kindly, indicate your interest inside the Qurban registration form.
