1. Head of Africa Region

Responsibilities:

  • Representing the organisation effectively among NGOs, government agencies, and relevant bodies
  • Leading the development and implementation of a strong Africa strategy aligned with HQ vision
  • Collaborating with the Director of Global Programs to optimise funding opportunities
  • Maintaining project and financial information and budget control
  • Ensuring strong planning and monitoring across all activities
  • Hosting and leading Charity Deployments from other parts of the GER family

Pre-requisites:

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience with a focus on Muslim charities
  • 2+ years of field experience in leadership roles fostering effective partnerships
  • Contemporary understanding of humanitarian challenges
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong people and team management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop effective channels
  • Proficiency in project management, including proposal development and monitoring

2. FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts function (Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable)
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation, assist with month end and year end closing​
  • Monitoring funds and maintaining financial records
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Accounts Assistant
  • Support yearly audit which includes preparation of reports, extraction of documents
  • Submission of CPF contribution and IRAS tax submission
  • Process monthly staff payroll, payslips and claim reimbursements

Pre-requisites:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting
  • At least 2 Years of relevant working experience in financial operation​s
  • Knowledge of Xero and Quickbook accounting software​
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Self-driven, meticulous, independent and a team player

3. PROJECT COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

 

 Requirements:

  • One year of experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
